Got paywalled but I agree with you, good news. I can only assume what the article says since it's from the UK. They've gone insane. Not sure if the point has been made here but it's insane to me that there is supposedly a whole month dedicated to these people, justified or not, when there is a single day for veterans.

Which class of people is more worthy of celebration? Those that have protected and maintained this amazing country or...well...fill in the rest at your leisure.

It's even worse than 'gay pride month'. This BS is everywhere:

Jan 22 - trans prisoner day of action and solidarity
3rd week of Jan - 'no name-calling week'
Feb 7 - 'national black HIV/AIDS awareness day'
Feb 12 - 'national freedom to marry day'
Mar 31 - international trans day of visibility

This shit continues through the rest of the year, there are like 20 days celebrating it. I work with a "they/them" and get to hear about this all the time. 😵‍💫

I like how they add this stuff in in the dark of night then scream and flail their arms about bigotry, etc when something that was never voted on or approved by the masses is removed. Same story for the whole fake "book ban" crap.

The weirdest part of how women are treated in the middle east is that the men who treat women like animals were raised by women. Maybe they are bad moms and deserve that treatment? 🤷🏼

After going to muslim countries for 40+ years I am all out of fucks to give about their situation. My only focus is keeping that stupid shit out of this country.
