Wave from So Indiana

Long time lurker first time poster...I have recently purchased a 2014 Rubicon Unlimited and have a wish list that is growing by the day thanks to the WAL forum! My first Jeep was a 1979 Renagade that was to say the least....in rough shape. After a $20 paint job, some craigslist used TSL Swampers and some TLC it was the most fun I have ever had for $1500. I graduated to an 85 Toyota that I completly rebuilt and made a full time off road toy. After getting a little older and starting a family it was back to a 99 TJ for back road cruzing and moderate off-roading on the family farm. The decision was made to sell the TJ and the Toyota and go for the Rubicon late last year. The TJ sold in three days and the Toyota price just keeps dropping.....It was a hard decision but the fun we have as a family driving around southern Indiana and the 300 acres of farmland that my family owns made the dual purpose of a road worthy and trail ready Jeep an easy one (other than the $$$). Plans for the new Rubicon include EVO 3" Enforcer w/ dranglink flip,Adams front driveshaft,2.0 Fox IFP or Rancho9000 shocks (any suggestions welcome) 35" STT Pros on ATX Cornice Teflon wheels, RockHard rails, LED lights, LOD stubby front bumper, Trail Dash programmer, QuadTop S soft top, SOLID diff covers.....I think that should be a good start!! Thanks WAL for all the great info and helpful writeups and pictures to help me spend all my money and I look forward to making a trip out west in the near future.

Welcome to Wayalife. Sounds like a good plan. Plenty of guys run the Rancho shocks as well as Rancho being an advertiser here on the forum. So I'm sure you'll get an answer on those.

Welcome to WAL! Your build is nearly identical to mine. You will like the lift and the ride. [emoji106][emoji112]
