Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

This claim is highly unlikely. However, there are surely many children of illegal immigrants benefiting from the federally funded school lunch program (which is practically required). If one does not believe in the 14th amendment, and thus believe that children born in the USA from non-citizen parents are not citizens, then the number of 'illegal' beneficiaries would skyrocket.

It makes no difference whether they're on Medicaid. That's a zit on a gnats ass compared to the real cost to healthcare (I'm a healthcare finance manager).

The real cost is that any of those 21 million illegals can and do walk into an emergency department and get treated for "what ails them" due to EMTALA. And regardless of how it's worded, treatment goes faaarrrr beyond "stabilization" every damn time.

They all know the ER is their own personal free healthcare clinic. It's probably on the front of the "brochure" distributed to prospective illegal immigrants by the cartels. Lol...

I 100% believe if you are born here to illegal parents you should not be a citizen. I also believe that if you as an American have a kid in another country said old should not be a citizen there.

Totally agree. It only makes sense.

What’s interesting is that if a diplomat from a foreign country has a child in America they are NOT a citizen. With that in mind how could a child of an illegal born in America be a citizen? It’s not like spiking a football past the line of scrimmage.

The 14th Amendment was about the citizenship of freed slaves and their children. Period. The comments of the politicians who crafted and passed the amendments reflect this intention. The 14th was ratified to negate the Dred Scott decision.

Just because a law or amendment has been misinterpreted for years doesn’t make it right.

Wish somebody would explain to POTUS that “happy” ain’t the reason for the season.View attachment 426130

People saying ‘Happy Memorial Day’ doesn’t bother me.

My fallen brothers would want me to be happy- not sad. If they saw me sad they’d probably fuck with me and call me a bitch.
I am happy to have known them. I am happy for all the brothers who did manage to make it home. I’m happy I made it home.

The best part is we can all have our thoughts on the matter. 👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻

Not arguing that at all and I 100% agree with your interpretation. I’m just saying that in between happy and sad is solemn. We as a Country should be solemn for this holiday.
Lots of folks throw the “happy” part around like “yippee”. To me it’s not like that.

If this opinion from the Heritage Foundation is found to now be the law of the land, then there will be hell to pay due to the many "citizens" with birth certificates, social security numbers, homes, and who have paid into the system their whole adult lives and are now in retirement. Their own children (and grandchildren) would still be treated as visiting aliens:

most of those were before and not obamacare related, what is true is that in 2010 when that POS mandate was passed, tuition costs surged once the government took over the student loan process; the interest collected from those loans was to cover insurance company losses.

One of many of Obama's big lies:

"By cutting out the middleman, we'll save American taxpayers $68 billion in the coming years," the president said. "That's real money -- real savings that we'll reinvest to help improve the quality of higher education and make it more affordable."

Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010

The Real Student Loan Crisis Is The One Obama Created
