Guns are not the problem, the serious lack of morals, and the uplifting and over-acceptance of anti-social, anti-American, and anti-Christian beliefs that is instilled in these twats by university, media of all kinds, “celebrities”, and the democrat politicians, is the problem. When we stop codling this psychotic behavior, identity them before they act, put them in institutions where the belong, then we’ll start to see this bullshit stop.

Why would you imply people here don't care about other shootings.. in schools or churches or wherever? Or that we aren't worried about are own kids... Charlie represented a lot of peoples thoughts, we can relate to him and he was a public figure... simple as that. No need to read into how much is posted about each tragedy.

The remedy is, parents need to get back to accepting responsibility for raising THEIR children.

Instead of them saying it's just "kids finding themselves" they need to seek professional help IMMEDIATELY.

No one wants to accept responsibility for their own actions. It's always someone else or something else. Instead of giving kids everything they want, they need to be taught disappointment early in life. Everyone doesn't always win, everyone loses at various times in their life.

It has hit home for me, a friend of mine was teaching in a school that went through this. She was shot and survived. Funny thing is, she doesn't blame the inanimate object that was used, she blames the person who pulled the trigger and their parents.

You like to get on a soap box and push your ideals, just like everyone else here does. The difference is, you don't hold people committing the crimes responsible, you hold society responsible. Grow up, your Utopia is never going to happen. If things go the way you want, things will get worse, much worse.

Years ago, I did post about mass shootings…and it mostly was met with “oh shit, not this again”…and the same old argument that guns don’t kill people put forth as a reason why it happens…so I stopped…and it rarely was mentioned again.

The day Charlie Kirk was shot and killed (ironically while talking about mass shootings) , a shooting in another high school occurred…and barely received any mention…not just here on this forum, but everywhere…social media or news outlets…but whenever a celebrity or sports figure comes to harm, it becomes a big thing. That bothered me.

There are two main denominators in every shooting…mental health and guns…we can only control one of them.

I am trying to disagree better…

I appreciate and sympathies to your sister and of course all of the students in that school and their parents and loved ones, and I’d be more than happy to discuss the causes and solutions with anyone who is willing to be respectful and uses a cogent argument. Over the top rhetoric and vitriol is what got us here and does not belong in any respectful dialog.

I’m not anti trans - I really don’t give a damn - but the trans community needs to step up and realize they’re being radicalized and used as tools to achieve a goal. Twerking in front of toddlers is not how you gain acceptance from the mainstream. Showing you can be productive in society eventually does.
 
To complete my thought, the trans community desperately need to step up and do some self policing here and fucking right now. IDK how much more obvious it can get that they are tools for and end game and I don’t know what it is. When you look at how hard this is being pushed on society while simultaneously seeing the amount of shootings being carried out by them we all need to slam on the brakes and figure it out

Yeah... we have debated about the topic here... A LOT. And I feel horrible about your family going through it... But I'll still disagree with you whole heartily that disarming law abiding citizens will solve anything. Society has simply lost it's way. Charlie was on the right track and he was assassinated for it... Like King, JFK, etc, the Left's only solution is to spew hatred and silence the truth... silence the discussion. He wasn't your typical celebrity or sports figure... he was a Voice for what a lot of us believe is wrong with this country. And he was a walking Master Class of bringing two sides together to TALK about their differences... and at the end he Loved everyone, even if he disagreed with them...because he had FAITH and understood Hatred & Violence gets us no where in a civil discussion. If it's not a Gun, it will be a Knife or a Bomb or a Car or a Fire, or Bio Chemical. If you want to point Blame... Start Here: Greed & Power controlled by MSM, Social Media, The Entertainment Industry & Politicians.... How about we use those platforms to Teach Kids the importance of Family, Faith, Love, Respect, Honor, and the Value of Life. But hey... what do I know.

A lot of good thoughts in the last few posts but let's also not forget that it's the majority democrat aligned MSM controls what they will and will not cover.

For too many years they have focused on the tragedies that they can twist to push their agenda, those tragedies that went counter to the approved agenda got very little to no mention/airtime simply because it went counter to the message.

I recall that shooting, as soon as it was discovered who the shooter was, it disappeared as if it never happened.
They raped it for their gun control agenda and tossed it aside as soon as the truth of the shooter came out and it fell out of their usable favor.

They do not want to admit mental illness is real, they want to anger, push, control and then shed crocodile tears when a tragedy occurs but pay attention, there is zero sympathy from the left, they immediately attack with gun control.

Democrats do not want to address the brainwashing/radicalization happening in the education system, they would lose control of the very malleable groups they want to keep control of to carry out their dirty work.
