You know I was just thinking you could run a single strand electric wire weaved through the cages and electrify them and that would get them. Spool of wire is like $60 for a thicker one and like $30 for a small one. You would still need an energizer.

It’s not real hard to run a small electric using fiberglass or plastic poles and wire hooked up to a solar charger we used to do that when the turkeys would nest in the bushes outside their pen.
Use these.

Something like this but these have gotten real expensive
Make sure to drive a good copper ground rod.

I doubt single strand around the garden would stop squirrels. They would go under or jump between the strands. We use it for our sheep (braided wire though) and I just can’t see it stopping a squirrel.

Yeah I don’t know. The posts have multiple hooks. Relatively inexpensive and easy to set up. But the solar chargers have gone way up in cost. I think we got our little one for like 40 bucks. The bigger ones for cattle were a lot more.
