4 Wheel Binding/locking up

Hope y'all are doing well tonight. Got to do some wheeling today and noticed a much harder time off road and wanted to try and confirm my suspicion.


I have a 21 Rubicon, I am on a 3" BDS Lift that came with an upgraded Track Bar and I have Adjustable LC Arms added, Steer Smarts TR DL and stabilizer, Teraflex HD Ball Joints and 37" Tires.

When trying to turn the wheel locks when I turn it and some times gives push back. No issues in 2 Wheel daily driving, just 4 on turns.

I am thinking it is my Axles needing to be upgraded but appreciate feedback on this.

Are you trying to turn with the lockers engaged?

Actually yes. It still happens but not nearly as bad

Your lockers being on is the problem. Your tires are trying to spin at the same speed and turning is what is causing the binding.

as @cozdude stated, 4-wheel drive does this, worse in 4-low both axles locked (front axle locked), not so bad with only rear axle locked but still feel the wheel hop, not so bad in 4-hi unless it's a tight turn like turning into a parking space/ driveway
