2008 Wrangler needs all kinds of work

I have an 08 JKU, owned it since 2010. I have put 70,000 miles on it and wheeled it and drove daily for about 5 years. The front end was making some noise so I took it to our local mechanic they suggested the following;
Both front U-Joints
Transmission pan and lines
Rear Brakes

Attaching a pic of the front U-Joints(or lack there of-no caps)


I am gonna keep this for a while, what else should I consider doing when I go down to fix the pan and lines, besides adding a tranny cooler?

I would suggest checking the ball joints for play as well, and also your unit bearings.

You should have C gussets welded on. Hopefully they haven't already been bent.

I ordered the dana 30 axle liners but once I saw the interior condition of the axles, I knew there was no way we were gonna be able to slide them in.

Save your money on the liners - just have the C's reinforced. Unless you're doing Evel Kneivel stuff you shouldn't bend the tubes.
