We use parchment paper under the dough to keep it from sticking to the peel. Makes life much easier.didnât flour the bottom of the dough enough
Does it still crisp up nice?We use parchment paper under the dough to keep it from sticking to the peel. Makes life much easier.
This ^^^Corn meal works better than flour too.
Just talked with a personal chef friend that I work with and he said to use a pizza screen for the first part of cooking. Then take it off the screen to finish cooking it directly on the stone. We use parchment paper under the dough to keep it from sticking to the peel. Makes life much easier.
With that advice, not a chef.Just talked with a personal chef friend that I work with and he said to use a pizza screen for the first part of cooking. Then take it off the screen to finish cooking it directly on the stone.
Yes. I also remove the paper after itâs been on the stone a few seconds. Sounds just like the screen the chef mentioned.Does it still crisp up nice?
He personally does not use it, his pizza is phenomenal. He offered this âcheatâ to me since I had this happen. With that advice, not a chef.
Ask him how hot his pizza oven runs. Iâll bet there is no way you can get your home oven close to what they run and they keep them running for hours where most home ovens usually only run for an hour or two at the most.He personally does not use it, his pizza is phenomenal.
