Hey everyone. So, I am very very new to all this. I've loved jeeps and offroading my whole life but I've never been able to get out and do anything more than the odd logging road or service road. I very recently acquired my first jeep. It's a 2004 jeep liberty sport. It's all stock currently and I'm wanting to upgrade it. I have no idea where to start. But I know right now the plan is to keep it street legal but make it fun for trails and the like. So any advice I can get would be amazingly appreciated. Both for trails and off road areas and parts. Thank you again for letting me in guys and I'm super excited to meet new people and experience new things.

Great to have you here! As far as where to start goes, just get out and use your Jeep for what it’s made for and you’ll soon know what, if anything, you’ll need to do to make improvements 👍🏻

Welcome from Texas (and Arizona)!

The most common problem with the older Libertys is the door windows falling down, and it is an expensive repair. That seems to be the most common reason for people getting rid of them.

Make sure your shocks and battery are fresh.
