Backspacing and Antirock Sway Bar

I currently have KMC Machete beadlocks with 3.5” backspacing. Rockjocks website says minimum 4.5” backspacing to avoid clearance issues with the f&r sway bars installed.

I am definitely noob so can someone help me understand? Wouldn’t 4.5” backspacing bring the inside of the wheel closer to the center of the vehicle which would increase interference issues?

I’m sure rockjock is right but can someone help me understand this? Obviously this is on stock width axles.

As WJCO's diagram shows, more back spacing pulls the wheel/tire inward and under the fenders. Less pushes it out. 6.25" is what comes on factory wheels. You will be fine with what you have.
