Winch Power Cutoff - Are They Needed?

Wow, the admin here is quite the troll. And, out here pissing on the very aftermarket he uses to earn a living via BS video content. You might try to be a bit more prudent about who you piss on in public. Waiting for another LOL again from the big offroad Legend.... "wayolife admin", whoever...

Winch Power Cutoff - Are They Needed?

I've heard nothing good or bad about them till now. I did have a friend that worked for Milestar in Los Angeles, so he ran Milestar on, I think, his GTO. Know nothing about them, however, now the subject of ridicule. As stated further up the thread; as always it's your jeep do as you please, but...

YEA or NAY : Computer Controlled Electronic Jeep Components

I wrang my hands over the decision to put HEI in my 70 K20. I don't think my truck could ever strand me do to any type of electrical issue. So I have a notorious dislike for things I can't diagnose. But, I have modern vehicles because I live within modern parameters. I struggled on my current...

Winch Power Cutoff - Are They Needed?

I guess you could argue that on the modern equipment/winches there's probably some sort of fail safe. But I don't use my switch for on/off. It's there strictly for cutoff. That said, I've never had a runaway winch. But, just a couple of months ago, I had the starter on my 70 k20 run away...

Winch Power Cutoff - Are They Needed?

If you want one for whatever reason, it will be easy and inexpensive. I use a cutoff on my other offroad vehicle I have right now. I use an Old Moroso switch right on the front bumper. Get a 12v solenoid to stand inline between the winch and battery. Wire to the Aux switches in your dash. Done...

    Warn winch 10,000

I just installed a Zeon XD10s a couple days ago. I wasn't that interested in the wireless Hub when I bought it. But... just yesterday I went out into the desert and preloaded the synthetic line. I used the remote cell phone Hub for part of the operation. I actually will probably use it some...

The NP242 What does it really do

What is the model case. Anyhow, ya an electronically controlled clutch pack. I thought I heard the tech say the pack will loosen up if it senses binding. And, I’m not even sure how much it will matter to me. Kinda feeling like anything not to have clutches serviced. Thanks for the vid J

The NP242 What does it really do

I went out again this past Wednesday. Last time I tested everything to see if all the 4wd selections worked. All worked and I was pleased with the performance. This time I stayed on fire roads and stayed in 4Auto and 4PT with offroad plus on and off. As I’m trying to figure out the 242. All went...

    Hello From North Scottsdale Az

Just bought A new 2025 Mojave X two weeks ago. Found this forum and decided to join. There is some good info here. Did some test running at/on the Cave Creek Trail around Seven Springs Wednesday. The Mojave performed well. Though, I have to admit, It was a bit to take in. An awful lot to test...
