I’ve had my bolt on coilovers for two years now. I’m happy with the 250/250 fronts. The rear because of my bumper choice, tire size and gear I carry, plus pulling a camping trailer off road. I have gone to 300/350 in the rear. I believe the out the box rates are for a stockish/ lighter setup...

A few reasons. First the wife wanted to try them. Duel purposes birds have more longevity for breeding then strait meat birds with more leant slaughter times.

if we don’t like them, we’ll just run through this batch and try a different one. We knew they stayed on the smaller side and since they aren’t our layers we weren’t worried about egg production.

These are silver laced Wyandotte, they are our meat birds some of them will be kept for breeding. Tomorrow’s are Cornish cross just for meat and two wide breasted white turkeys. The wife has a list for our laying hens, but we won’t get those till next weekend.

Picked up our first 20 chicks today. 10 more and two turkeys tomorrow.

Thanks! It’s nice to actually be getting things off my to do list. I keep saying I’m going to take a break after each project, but end up just moving on 🤣

Over the last couple months we’ve been working on getting animals back on our ranch. Chicken coops are now done, turkey coop is done and pig pen is finished being built. Need a little more paint outside and clean up all my tools.

Looks good! We also opted for raised beds, we have a lot of gophers around. So it helps eliminate that risk.

No the 3.8 is every day low range the lowest is 10.32:1. Yes the rear is shorter and the front is longer. Not sure by how much yet though. The gear set goes 1:1, 2.7:1, 3.8:1 and 10.32:1.

The 4 speed atlas has been on my list for a while now.
