    Possible PR44/60 upgrade?

IDk if the JK stuff is cheaper but I looked at doing a 60 swap in my JL the other day & by the time I added tires, wheels, PSC, and steering my total was over $30K... I'm not in my mid 20's and I decided not to afford it right now either

    Got an interesting one… 🤔

Yeah, I would think that is plenty enough time and speed to check the temps and you’re right in the ballpark of normal temperature wise.

    Got an interesting one… 🤔

If your pinion bearings are starting to fail the pinion snout should get super hot. When I set up a differential I use an IR thermometer to check temps on the pinion snout and diff cover during break in. New bearings and gears will produce more heat than broken in ones but still shouldn’t...

Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

My wife bought a whole set of those with the rocker option and a matching porch swing, so far they've held up great for the most part. One of my rocker glider's ended up buckling due to a screw in the glider base getting stripped, I'm not certain but it is likely my fault for assembling them...

Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

K10 stuff… Torque converter wasn’t locking up and causing a CEL. Dropped the pan and the valve body and switched out the TC lock up valve.

Vinyl dye should make light work of a color change, since its stock trim someone out there probably sells rattle cans that are a close match.

    4.88s and 37s

In my 3.6L JL I put about 20K on the stock 4.10’s with 37’s, it’s doable and had I not known any better I probably wouldn’t have any complaints. The 4.88’s and 37’s are nice, adds a lot more low end grunt. I noticed it more around town and on the trail than anywhere else but it does like to...
