There are definite benefits to changing the oil early on a new vehicle although not totally necessary. Removal of breakin debris will certainly increase longevity and give you piece of mind. I plan to change the oil and filter in our new Gladiator at 2000 miles as well. 👍

Yes, intermittently some functions did not work. For instance, the HVAC and heated seats would not turn on. Then after the Jeep sat for a while, everything would be fine.
