Awa or milkfish?…Awa is the Hawaiian name…it was/is an important food fish in Indonesia, Southeast Asia and some pacific islands…not sure how it got its English name. I’m always amused by tourists asking about Hawaiian fish names…I remember one time I was coming out of the ocean with a stringer...

In Hawaii, there is no license requirement for salt water (yet)…these ponds are connected to the ocean via underground pipes since the hotel property is oceanfront

There are multiple salt ponds on the hotel property we are staying at on the Big Island…I have a request in to be able to fly fish in one of them…there is already a fisherman on this property…

This is one of the reasons we have inflation…people spend money they don’t have…they carry enormous debt with no fiscal responsibility, so retailers, the service, hospitality and entertainment industries will continue to charge what they believe the market will bear…

I’m not saying that there is no inflation…last year it approached levels we haven’t seen since 2008, which was a recession…what I am saying is that I’m hopeful the economy is on a path to return us to good financial health for all.

According to the Consumer Price Index numbers released today, inflation has dropped by 5 percentage points in the last year to 3.4% from a high of over 8.5% just a year ago… The Dow, Nasdaq & s&p 500 are all at historic highs… We may have turned the corner on inflation…Feds are getting ready...
