It really was a great weekend and in spite of the problems we had. As far as the transmission goes, I've been having issues with the driver side rear speed sensor and think that may have been part of the problem. Hoping to get that fixed soon. Definitely need to get you on a run with us (y)...

Really glad that I can share this with all of you. It's far from being a good solution to not carrying a spare (Julio would vouch for this) but a really good back up plan, just in case you needed a second option.

Me personally, even though this patch held up amazingly well on the trail, I would never trust a tire with sidewall damage for regular highway use, especially if you just applied it on the outside.

We redid the patch at camp and let it cure a lot longer before reinstalling it on the LJ. Unlike the first time which Julio only put in 20 psi in it, he put in a full 40 psi and it lasted all the way off the trail and into town like that.
