    JK Tailgate replace

My son accidentally smacked into my buddy's jeep on the trail. After getting a price for a MOPAR tailgate from my go-to parts dept., I then called several body shops on quotes to paint it. Unfortunately, not a single one would give me a good quote unless I brought the tailgate (and the Jeep)...

JEEP TRAIL OFFROAD GPS: What GPS is everyone running?

These are the 5 I know of (had this list saved, the prices may have since changed.) I was torn between the Bad Elf Pro and the Dual XGPS150A. I bought the Dual simply because it was half the price. Seemed to work okay, but shortly after I started using it I bought a New iPad mini with the...

JEEP TRAIL OFFROAD GPS: What GPS is everyone running?

Yes. I was using MotionX in my iPad Mini. I still use it once in a while on evening trips. My mount and case doesn't provide adequate airflow to keep it cool during hot days exposed to sunlight.

JEEP TRAIL OFFROAD GPS: What GPS is everyone running?

I looked into one of these and using my iPad as well. Lots of info out there in expedition groups. However, I changed my mind after taking my iPad with me on a couple runs (for music.) With the top down and doors off, it gets too hot. Slows down, battery dies faster, hard to see, and gets...

Rock lights!!! Let's see em if ya got em!!

I too went with the Wal~Mart lights a couple years ago. Worked great and a very cheap mod. They didn't however last very long and one by one started to go out. Swapped a couple new ones in here and there, but gave up after a year. They get hot, on a cool night in the desert you can see the...

Pictures of any four doors on 37s

Here's a few of mine over the last 7 years. I went straight from stock to 37's. With the AEV kit I ran the stock flares, but they rubbed too hard and I wanted to free up some up-travel. I cut them initially, but I picked up a set of the Smittybilt flairs second-hand and ran those until I had...

    Rigids in LoD Rear Bumper

There's not enough room behind the bumper to put in the non-flushmount LED's. I went from the regular lights supplied on my GEN2 LOD Signature Series Rear bumper to some knock-off flush mount LEDs I bought for $30 off a supplier I found on Craigslist. They fit fine without needed to alter the...

    Spyderlock Wheels

I don't know the whole story, but these wheels are the same as the ATX Slabs. Only with the additional material on the rings. I have the Slabs and they have been great. No complaints.

Anyone have the LOD Destroyer Rear Bumper w/ Tire Carrier?

Agreed. I have Signature Series bumper with the Halogen Lights. Over the years water, dirt, and bugs got into the light housings and both of the bulbs were broke. I emailed LOD about buying replacements or directing me where I could get them. These damn things are $50 a pair plus shipping...

    Not happy with Daystar

Man, Daystar is a local company to me. Ive been there on tours a couple times and talked with them at several events. They know their market, and they know their business. Theres likely a reason you're unable to get it. If it were me and I really wanted this winch mount, I'd just wait till...

    Compressor

ARB CKMA12? That's what I used for a while. Burnt it out pretty quick. ARB was awesome and replaced it even though it was shortly after the warranty had timed out.

    Compressor

It's the sweet spot that I get the best ride and tread wear on my Goodyears (MTRK 37x12.5R17 on ATX Slabs) I get about 40-45K miles out of a tire, assuming I don't rip it open on the trail and use the cert from Discount.

    Compressor

I've been running 37's since I lifted my JK back in 2009. I started with the single ARB mounted under the hood. 12 up to 38 psi took 6 minutes each tire and it would shut off due to heat on the third tire most of the time. After about 10 minutes I could finish up. I then went to a VIAR 440P...

    Ridged radios vs cb

The Rugged Radios ones are about $100 for the handheld, but you can buy the same thing on amazon for about $35 (includes charger) Thats what most of my wheeling circle is using on the trails these days and the CB's are more of a backup or used to fill-in those without the race radios. I like...

    Hello from Phoenix

Hello everyone. I'm Tony. I've had my current Jeep since it was purchased new in 2009 and it's seen several stages of modifications through the years. I live in Glendale, AZ (Just north of Arrowhead,) and I look forward to meeting anyone in the area!
