Been a while since I updated my thread here.... The work continues... making some good progress on the Restoration process... Installed the new Brake shoes and hardware- final stages of getting the new Fuel and Brake lines routed and anchored down... Soon the Rolling Chassis will be finished...

Actually now that I line up the backs they have the same angle but as you can see shorter on the front... So this might just work perfect.. We will see!

Cannot wait to get the KBS chassis paint in the Satin Black on- New brake and fuel lines installed along with the new Gas tank and skid plate. Going to really clean things up for sure. Going to keep this Jeep on a classic theme with that pop of modern wheels and trim- I do like the white...

Yep- agree as well- No perches added to the front diff... so who knows what was going on.. If the true way of measuring lift is with the earlier pic i posted about measuring from the top of axle to bottom of line across top of leaf spring... then that would only put my jeep at 2 1/2" lift...

Started the tear down on my 76 CJ5 and now noticing what appears to be the rear axle has been turned upside down? Why would someone do this? What wast the Purpose of this? Any issue with this set up. Drove the Jeep prior to tear down and seems to roll nice...

Thanks for confirming the lift Springs that are on there... Yeah will be replacing motor mounts for sure. Appreciate all of the info.
