    CB Help!

No, you can not, the coax resistance is different for co phased. Just replace your coax to the proper 50 ohm and be done with it.

    CB Radio

I'd say the learning curve is very minimal, if any... This Midland is my first micro radio, so I can't actually give a solid recommendation until I've owned it for awhile longer. But even with that said, would I buy this Midland 75-822 over again? In a heartbeat! Look at what you get...

    CB Radio

From a working installed radio... Coming from the antenna - unplug coax from the 'remote box' of the Cobra 75 (if already connected) and reconnect to back of SWR meter marked "Antenna". Take the 3' patch cord coax ( that hopefully came with your swr meter) and screw one end into Cobra 75's...

Question about Fuel Carries, pros and cons

I'm just a beginner here and just tryna' figure things out myself, but found this thread interesting. One perspective that comes to my mind is rotopax are probably more "family-friendly". Where a full 5 gal Jerry can is going to weigh upwards of 40 pounds or more, a couple 2 gal pax are most...

A good book on 4x4 Off Roading

In addition to all the previous suggestions. What helped me was to also peruse YouTube videos. There's some good info out there, and a bunch of what NOT to do as well.

    Signal Peak Trail 2015

...or "Learning to Crawl" Just sharing a bit of the fun had this past Sunday for those that weren't able to make it. Hope you enjoy - thanks for watching! (for best results - recommend using the YouTube icon on video and going to YT to use the FULLSCREEN option) EDIT: I surely hope it is...

NorCal: Signal Peak -- Sept 13th

LOL - and the perceived vicious one, was all chillax and like just, "Dad! Intruder alert, put down the snack and check 6!"

NorCal: Signal Peak -- Sept 13th

Thank you to everyone today for making my "cherry-poppin'" run so awesome, and well, quite frankly.....easy. I'm fairly certain I couldn't have done it without you! Thanks again!! Tail Gunner for the drive (sorry for the blurry pic) Airing Down at the trail Head A great shot of some...

    Panty Dropper

OK, so this might have been right after she rolled off the Jeep and on to the Volvo... *shrug* ;)

What's this worth, just need opinions...

... and no, "It's worth a buck and a half, here, i'll give ya two" comments pls. :bleh: So I have this 1960 CJ5. Looks fantastic (in my humble opinion). Love the "one-off" of the Jeepster Commando front clip! (usually its the other way around isn't it?) Anyway, I bought it last year to get...

LOD JKU Slider Install - Tapping Question...

No joke...my thoughts exactly! 8 year old nieces and well. Sounds like we share the same valid concerns my friend.

LOD JKU Slider Install - Tapping Question...

Me three on the LoD sliders. I do like the added step feature. Additionally, I too would want to weld them. So should they be welded in addition to the bolts or instead of? Or if I'm having them welded, should I just go EVO? Has anyone ever miss-stepped on an EVO slider and twisted an ankle or...

BDSJEEP's JKUR "The Kennel" Build and Blog thread...

Wow! Here already! Unboxing... ...and laying out parts waiting for exhaust to cool down. Sure looks like a super easy install! Be back after with a video sound clip of before and after. The tone on this exhaust is just fantastic! Take a listen -

    My first trail......EVER.

So with the brand new JKU barely 30 hours old....and just over the required 300 mile break-in, the wife and I threw the dog in the back and headed east out Highway 4. We stopped at Barnes and Noble and found three helpful books: 1.) Exploring the back Roads - 28 Day Trips in the greater Bay...

BDSJEEP's JKUR "The Kennel" Build and Blog thread...

So it finally arrived at the dealer, and while we were filling out the paperwork, I had casually asked my salesman if he had ever seen that Experian RV Loan commercial ( this one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxrHLDusKkE ) and when he ran our credit....LMAO...guess what the score was? HAHA...

A bit of advice from the regulars if I may...

Or maybe more of a kind of WAYALIFE "protocol" question I guess. As a brand new crawler N00b with a stock 2015 JKUR, should I wait and try to grab a spot on the March 2016 Newbie run trip? Or should I dive right in, fly around solo and/or sign up for any "easy" runs that may spontaneously pop...
