What was done to your rig this week?

What's this thread doing on page 2? Here's a free bump! Just got my soft top on (didn't put on the windows) just to test fit it, windows have never been used! Thanks to my neighbor who basically gave it to me for whatever I had on me at the time he asked if I wanted it!

    EVO tire carrier-options?

I'm running a 35 on the back with mine and while it looks a smidge small, it's not bad at all though, and I plan to move up anyway :yup:. I run with the factory rear bumper in place and it fills up a lot of the space and gives it a more full look which I think helps a bunch. As evo doesn't...

Possible way to mount rotopax to evo tire carrier

So i made another side and got it all together, I changed from the orange light duty straps (400lb working load) to black heavy duty ratchet straps (1000 lb working load, 3000lb breaking), probably would have been fine with the light duty but I wanted them black anyway :thumb: only $6 each at...

Possible way to mount rotopax to evo tire carrier

So just an update, I took another piece of scrap metal I had and made the following: and got two ratchet straps to hold it down and here's how it all came out: it works a HELL of a lot better than the old way, and I definitely feel comfortable using this in the long run, there is very...

Possible way to mount rotopax to evo tire carrier

Well I was trying to think of a nice and easy way to mount some rotopax to my evo carrier, and while I love the method Eddie chose I have a third brake light, reverse lights, license plate lights, and a license plate holder there and taking it all off just to mount some rotopax is simply out of...

Pros and cons to genright tire carrier?

Well I don't have a dedicated build thread but here's how it sits right now! The "third brake light" is just something I made out of some scrap steel, and the holes are a bit off but whatever. It's a combination third brake light / reverse light indicators / license plate light and I wanted...

yes, that! What i was trying to get at was even back in 2011 this was the system they used, not necessarily "if it completed the rubicon" :yup:

Trail Rated - Just Not for the Rubicon

I remember when I was buying my jeep (back in 2011) reading about the trail rated badge and I read somewhere on the site about how trail rated badges were earned by ground clearance, water fording ability, and other things, and that they had to meet a certain criteria. Maybe it just so happened...

Reverse, third brake, and license plate lights with evo tire carrier?

Hey guys, I just received some LED's that I ordered to finish up all the lighting, and I'll be making my bracket here soon, but I just want to double check my wiring and make sure it'll all work alright. In case you're wondering the LED's I've ordered are the cool white and red (2 of each) of...

    Doorless time and rainy day

Since I live in the PNW we get rain for pretty much every day from october to may. That being said I have gone doorless and topless in my JKU in the mountains to go wheeling up at Tillamook state forest in a downpour. The only thing I had on was my freedom panels. The inside of the windshield...

Evo tire carrier joints hard to get on

Hey guys, I got two of the joints on, but the other two seize up no matter what I do, they look kind of crooked going in, but they're most definitely not cross threaded, I got them in with my hands about 1/3 of an inch and it just seizes up. Should I just muscle them in? Anyone else have this issue?

(Got rid of my teraflex tire carrier) So that brings me to my next question, are there any good tips anyone has on the install? I know I should use a ratchet strap for the corners and...

Didn't see a thread on this so I figured I'd just make one to see what you all are watching, maybe get some ideas for something new to watch! For me, I'm fairly big into the following and I'd definitely recommend any of them! Breaking bad (definitely one of my top picks and sad that it's...
