    Uconnect error on day 2?

It seems that most dealers kind of suck, and others are outright terrible. It is good to find an excellent mechanic who creates records which are useful later.

    Power Tools

Unless you need to work in a remote location, plug in tools are still a viable option for many purposes. Especially for things like saws and sanders. The common trend is to put a battery on everything, but my DeWalt saw has a cord, and it works great. Even if you are in a remote location...

    Power Tools

I was just trying to clarify what is seen as an overwhelming challenge for you. With three batteries, and two chargers, most people should be good to go for a vendor platform. Certainly, batteries can be expensive so it is cheaper to stick with one platform. But some tools are really expensive...

    Power Tools

You really only need to buy enough batteries so you can have sufficient spares for each brand. For some people that might only be 3 batteries, or even 2. Much of it seems to be psychological.

Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

It sounds like you are "anywhere but here" regarding these white South African refugees, who you should be welcoming with open arms. Bob

TIN CAMP - This is the Last One...

I would allow the snake to live and relocate it a bit if necessary. For every one you see there may be 100 more that you don't. The small ones are perhaps more dangerous since they are less easy to see, and more likely to strike. Teach the dog about snakes. In Arizona, we relocate scorpions...

What was done to your rig this week?

They are not going to give you 400 Mbps downloads from other places. The speed test sites are well known and so they give speed tests priority to promote false speed expectations. It must be nice to be always connected while in the wilderness. It is as if you never left home at all! 😄

Things would likely not go well for you if your dog kills the UPS delivery guy.

    Uconnect error on day 2?

Does it know how to route you to Datil, NM? This is a place you should want to visit anyway. 😄

    Uconnect error on day 2?

XM radio works fine for me, given the little time I use it. The Garmin is vastly better than the built in GPS. Somehow Garmin has an advisory that US-60 is closed in the west-bound direction for the past few months and wants to add 3 hours to the route (at almost the last moment) to take highway...

Ovie's No Bad News and Only Funny Shit Thread

It was not me. You have not attacked me in days, if not several weeks. I think that @OverlanderJK has turned over a new leaf and found his softer side with the tree planting and other such stuff.

    Uconnect error on day 2?

Seems like a Jeep GPS malfunction. GPS uses satellite, just like XM radio. They may share the same antenna.
