Yeah agreed. The geo brackets shouldn’t have affected steering, it’s just that a 2.5” is so small the angles between the drag link and track bar is negligible.

They just lower the angle of the control arms, closer to stock… How do they affect the track bar and drag link angles?

That’ll be a great lift. My first lift was a 2.5” and I never changed the front track bar height; the kit came with only the rear relocation bracket. I didn’t have bump steer at all. However, it’s better to have the track bar and drag link parallel so it wouldn’t hurt, and you’re already down...
