Throwout bearing go out or did the clutch?
Both. Throwout bearing was making all the usual clattering and feeling like gravel. And clutch was slipping every hill. Especially going up hill.
Now im searching for the rubber seal on top of the shifter. Have the foam seal on the way.

Had my TO bearing and clutch done about a year and a half ago. I got about 70k before the bearing went (rattling then squealing). The clutch still felt good but figured while they were in there might as well have it replaced. OEM clutch is expensive.

Yeah. Mine had been rattling for a few years. It just finally went at the same time as the clutch. 120k miles. I went with a centerforce clutch
