The College Football Thread

To be honest, I stopped watching college sports when they went semi-pro.
Allowing them to transfer on a whim and being immediately eligible to play AND getting paid makes them nothing
but a farm organization for the pros.

I get it. I don't particularly like that aspect of it but it's always been that way - now the money part is out in the open. And coaches have left at the drop of a hat after promising recruits they'd be there their whole career, so it's kinda fair for the players to do it as well.

The college football atmosphere is so much better than the Pros. The new playoff format has developed some better conversations. Just wish my Hawks would get over the hump.

Me being a wrestling fan I really can’t stand Penn State. Lol

Lol, fair - Sanderson really pushed them up and over

The Iowa Wave is so awesome - Such a cool moment. I've teared up several times...

I was going to go to the UDub game tomorrow by boat (one of two stadiums you can), but flying to northern BC below the Yukon to fish for pike, bull trout and lakers

Great opening win for UH Warriors over Stanford with a fg as time expired…
