GARDENING Thread

We had some crazy storms yesterday in Tennessee. One yesterday afternoon came out of nowhere for us. It appeared as though it would miss us like most do but hit us head on. Penny size hail, crazy winds, 3/4”+ of rain in about ten minutes. We had stuff thrown all over outside and around our property. Watching the winds out the window (when I could see) it was probably the closest thing to being a tornado without being one. Anyway, our biggest apple tree snapped at the base unfortunately. Total bummer.

Glad you guys are ok though 👍🏻

lol she’s good. Animals don’t get affected by that crap because they can sense it and are smarter than humans.

Pig shelter went for a ride though. Thing is not light either.

It seems that everything needs to be anchored to the ground. I recommend products from American Earth Anchors for that. They have every type of anchor, and made in the USA to USA specifications.

Do they have anchors so I can tie down my grass? How many would I need to tie down each blade of grass on 21 acres?
To many just plant it. If it blows away after that you have more problems than any anchor can help.
Edit to add glad no one was hurt. Thats the main thing
