I am just starting to restore and customize my '99 TJ. I have zero experience working with vehicles of any kind, but what I do have is the ability to develop a very single-minded focus on something that has caught my interest. Which means I spend a large amount of time accumulating references and teaching myself as I go. 13 years ago I said I was going to get a Wrangler, 10 years ago I had saved enough money to by said Wrangler and said I'd some day turn it into my own, and now after 3 years collecting rust I've decided I'm going to wing it.
