One bent rod on my buggy LS engine completely locked it like that. It was oil instead of water but same results. I could have easily replaced the rod and piston for that cylinder because it didn't damage the crank.

Not much room under the hood since the LS conversion. I installed a ARB single under the passenger seat for the lockers and also got the inflator kit.

I have bought and built several salvage vehicles over the years. I build them myself and keep them for personal use for several years before selling. I could not come out ahead on one if I had to pay someone to repair it. I have never had a problem getting one insured in Tennessee.

The alternator failed on my son's Powerwagon. It was screaming loudly and was very hot but it didn't damage anything else. Hopefully it didn't on yours.

My son ordered a 2023 TRX in mid October and it still is not on the build schedule. The manufacturer that I worked for would hold the first of production of a new model year for a certain amount of time before releasing in case there are any issues.

My son has a 23 TRX on order and I will get first dibs if he ever decides to sell it. Should be a lot peppier than the 4cyl Altima that he has been driving for years.

They are supposedly building the TRX at least through 2024.

I am going to try to adapt a stock 3.6 JK air cleaner. I am not a big fan of the oiled cotton air filters like it has now.
