Ive used the rainx crack kit many times. It's not perfect but it works. Cracks dont spread and for ~$15 I cannot argue.

We are very lucky as there are a lot of great spots to wheel at around us

You could try a phone repair shop. Youd be amazed at what the phone can survive. Might just need a new screen for $200.
