Yea I bought the big bore steering box and pump. And then bought the ram a year or so later to soften the blow of the cost.
Just make sure you get the box ported with capped fittings so you can plumb in the ram later.
I drive i70 once or twice a week. There are sections that require all CMVs to carry chains starting next weekend until June of next year.
The two tire tracks on either side of the lanes are 8” deep in the center.
They paved the tunnel a few summers ago and it was back to rutted in one year...
My Dynatracs felt tight for 1,500 miles. That said, I wouldn’t describe it as ‘scary.’

I’m not too proud to admit I have dropped a JKU hardtop before using one of those cheap Lange manual hoists.
Full disclosure, I bought the hardtop used off Craigslist and since then had cracked it hitting a tree, so I was pretty careless with it and didn’t have the hoist...
